Welcome to

Saco Main Street!

It is with great excitement that the Saco Main Street Organization welcomes its new Executive Director, Angie Presby.

She brings leadership, enthusiasm and a love of her hometown.

"Saco Main Street is a wonderful organization that is dedicated to it's community. There is room for creativity, partnerships, networking and creating solid results, for our historic downtown.

Our 4 point approach:  Economic Vitality, Design, Organization and Promotion keeps us driven to promote and encourage a lively downtown. We celebrate it's history, and strive to utilize our buildings to their full potential so that future generations will want to participate in preservation and encourage economic success for our businesses."

The hiring committee at Saco Main Street was impressed with Angie's commitment to serve on voluntary boards, and dedication to the mission of Saco Main Street.

"I began volunteering for Saco Main Street after I saw a call for volunteers to help plan the Pumpkin Harvest Festival in 2021. Attending planning meetings and then watching the event come together was something I enjoyed doing. By December of 2021 I was asked to join the Board of Directors and by October of 2022 I was voted on as Board President. Saco Main Street activities were quickly becoming where I enjoyed spending my time most. When Jenn Day's 6 month interim period was up, I very happily stated my interest in applying for the position."

Presby, a native to Saco, graduated from Thornton Academy, class of 2001. Presby. Her partner Tim, and their four children, call Saco home.

On behalf of Saco Main Street’s Executive Board, we want to wish Angie our most sincere wishes for a long and fruitful partnership. We have faith that your professional background, stellar community leadership and record of excellence will help take our growing organization to a new level.

The energy in Saco is apparent and more people want to do something to help it. It can’t go without saying we can always use more volunteer support.  Volunteering for Saco Main Street means having an impact on Saco (your favorite hometown), making connections and meeting new people, while having a lot of fun.
